Since 2006 dança em foco holds a São Paulo edition with the support of SESC São Paulo. That year as an extension of the 4th edition in Rio, apart from the launching of the book Dança e Tecnologia, the program brought the lectures by Michelle Bargues, coordinator of the video departament of Centre Georges Pompidou, and Armando Menicacci (Paris VIII) who was also responsible for the workshop Portrait/Landscape: Poetical of Interactivity. The presentation of the Mostra Internacional de Videodança – MIV (International Videodance Exhibition) included films from Centre Pompidou and CVM – Circuito Mercosul de Videodança (Mercosul Videodance Circuit) with works from Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil.
