The 2007 edition saw the launch of the second and last compilation of videos, featuring works from the three countries constituting this Circuit.
International Videodance Exhibition (MIV)
Today, the MIV is one of the world’s most important display platforms, gathering together works from a wide variety of esthetic and geographic fields. Firming up its position as an extraordinary occasion for disseminating contemporary choreographic output, the MIV opens in Rio de Janeiro and extends through two tiers of activities: Brazilian festivals and exhibitions, displaying international programs all over Brazil; and videodance festivals elsewhere in the world – with which dança em foco has partnerships, through a touring selection that features Brazilian and Latin American works. The International Videodance Exhibition (MIV) has partners in Germany, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bolivia, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Spain, France, the Netherlands, Mexico, Paraguay, Portugal, Serbia, Sweden, Uruguay and Turkey.
Keen interest in the MIV is reflected through its circulation in Brazil.
